It was an honour hosting H.E. John Dramani Mahama and the First Lady, Lordina Mahama, who spent the Christmas holidays right here in Gomoa Central Constituency at the beautiful Crown Forest (The Crown Forest)
Beyond rest and relaxation, the visit came with strong and reassuring commitments to development.
The President assured us that the Winneba–Swedru Road will be fixed, and that new roads will be constructed across Gomoa Central to open up communities, improve connectivity, and boost economic activity.
Crucially, H.E. also confirmed that he will personally attend the sod-cutting ceremony of the Gomoa Central Special Economic Zone, a flagship project under the 24-Hour Economy Programme.
This industrial zone will drive round-the-clock production, attract major investments, and create sustainable jobs for about 300 thousand people in a few years.

On the same day, the President will also commission the Ahmadiyya Poultry Project at Gomoa Pomadze—an automated, modern poultry and livestock farm designed to employ many people, boost local meat production, and significantly reduce Ghana’s dependence on meat imports.
With its scale and technology, the project has the potential to become one of the largest poultry farms in West Africa.
Under the visionary leadership of H.E. John Dramani Mahama:
Ghana is rising.
Central Region is resetting.
Gomoa Central is opening up for business.
Gomoa Central is the meeting point of history and destiny — where Nkrumah’s dream of an industrialised Ghana meets Mahama’s bold vision of a 24-Hour Economy to reset our nation.
This is no longer an idea.
This is no longer a campaign promise.
It is happening.
The future we have spoken about is taking shape — right here, right now, in Gomoa Central
Thank you for coming Sir. Like Oliver Twist, we hope to see you again very soon
