A 19-year-old woman, Emmanuella Asante, has been remanded into police custody in connection with the death of her 33-year-old boyfriend, Enoch Abrokwa, at Ofankor Barrier in Accra.

According to the Ghana Police Service, preliminary investigations indicate that the incident occurred on October 9, 2026, following a disagreement between the two at the deceased’s business premises. The confrontation allegedly escalated, resulting in the suspect stabbing Abrokwa in the chest with a piece of broken glass.
