The Office of the Attorney General is still working on the recommendation of the case docket of Nana Appiah Mensah, the beleaguered CEO of Menzgold Ghana Limited, according to information provided to the Circuit Court in Accra.

The initial charges against Nana Appiah Mensah, often known as NAM1, had 13 counts, but those charges have since been changed. He has not yet entered a plea to the roughly 61 new allegations included in the September 3, 2019, amended charge sheet.

NAM1 was present in court on Thursday, June 8, 2023, masking his 35th appearance, and he prayed for a postponement while the prosecution was represented by ASP Emmanuel Haliga.

Superintendent Sylvester Asare’s brief was being held by ASP Haligah, who informed the court that the Office of the Attorney General is preparing recommendations for the next course of action.

On November 9, December 14, both in 2022, and on January 2, April 24, and June 8, 2023, the CEO of Menzgold made his 30, 31, 32, 34, and 35th appearances, respectively.
