Alan Kyerematen is deserving of being the party’s flag bearer, according to Mr. Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, the Member of Parliament for the Assin Central Constituency in the Central Region and a member of the ruling New Patriotic Party.

Speaking in Kumasi, Mr. Agyapong claimed that Mr. Kyerematen had contributed significantly to the party ever since it was founded by serving as the head of its finance branch, the Young Executives Forum (YEF).

Mr. Agyapong claimed that Mr. Kyerematen is even more deserving of the post if people think Dr. Bawumia should be the flag bearer because he served as vice president for two times.

He further questioned the devotion of individuals who were disparaging Mr. Kyerematen, asking where they had been during the early years when he had put a lot of effort into the party.
