Former Finance Minister Kenneth Ofori-Atta filed an application to have a warrant issued by the Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) for his arrest struck down, but the High Court (Criminal Division) denied it.

Mr. Ofori-Atta had requested that the court revoke all associated actions, including an Interpol Red Notice warning, on the grounds that the OSP had obtained the warrant illegally.

But this morning, the court dismissed the application in its entirety, finding it to be without merit.
