In a statement, the Ghana Police Service refuted claims made by those who were accused of being forced to reenact their protest activities at the 37 crossroads during the “Democracy Hub” demonstration.

The police assert that there is no evidence to support these assertions made by the accused persons’ attorneys.

The detectives who reconstructed the crime scene were part of the cops who worked on the case from the beginning, the police stressed.

The police also stated that during the crime scene reconstruction process, the accused were made aware of their entitlement to legal representation.

The police also addressed earlier attempts by protest organizers to disseminate untruths, such as the assertion that they had arrested a pregnant mother and a 12-year-old child.

This news coincides with the current hostilities surrounding the demonstration at Democracy Hub.

The protest’s primary organizer, Oliver Barker-Vormawor, was recently refused bail.

The purpose of the demonstration was to draw attention to certain political and social problems in Ghana.
