The culmination of the ECOWAS Mid-Year Statutory Meetings, the 69th Ordinary Session of the ECOWAS Authority of Heads of State and Government in the Republic of Sierra Leone, was attended by President John Dramani Mahama on yesterday, Sunday.
Heads of State and Government from all over West Africa convened at the summit to discuss the Community’s current situation and explore ways to further regional integration, peace, security, and economic cooperation.
President Mahama took part in the launching of the Julius Maada Bio International Conference Centre at Lungi, the location of the high-level gathering, and joined his fellow leaders in a ceremonial tree-planting exercise prior to the summit’s commencement.
