Samira Bawumia, the wife of Ghana’s vice president, has made a sincere appeal to the NPP’s grassroots representatives in the Ahafo Ano North, South East, and South West constituencies of the Ashanti Region.
She emphasized that her husband, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, is the best choice to head the governing NPP and ensure victory in the upcoming elections as she pleaded with them to unify behind a strong candidate.
Mrs. Bawumia emphasized that Dr. Bawumia’s position as NPP leader offers the party its best chance of ending the two-term cycle of government and winning in 2024.
She emphasized to the delegates the value of choosing a strong candidate since winning elections requires an effective leader.
Dr. Bawumia is a natural leader who was born to serve his country, according to Mrs. Bawumia, who believes this after visiting various areas.
She emphasized that the special delegates’ conference, which was convened on August 26, 2023, had already signaled the party’s orientation by selecting Dr. Bawumia as the nominee.
Assuring them that their issues will be given top priority if the party prevails in the general elections of 2024, she urged the party’s delegates to deliver a resounding victory for the Vice President on November 4.
A number of party members, including high-profile party officials like the region’s first and second vice chairs of the party, Patrick Acheampong and Victoria Owusu Achiaw, as well as the regional communication director, Paul Kwabena Yandoh, accompanied Mrs. Bawumia.
