Three people have been taken into custody by the Ghana Police Service in relation to a robbery that took place at Kwabenya in the Greater Accra Region.
Following investigations into the incident, which occurred on January 18, 2026, the National Operations Directorate (NOD) Surveillance Unit made the arrests.
Police reported in an X post on Thursday, February 5, 2026, that two armed individuals broke into a Kwabenya home and took two iPhone 17 Pro Max phones, a gold necklace, an Apple Watch, GH¢14,000 in cash, a car key, and US$300.
Police further said that before leaving the scene, the thieves made the victim log out of his iCloud account on one of the seized phones.
Three individuals were apprehended after weeks of intelligence-led operations; they were identified as Musah Ibrahim, also known as Coded; Anthony Boateng, also known as Aisha Kojo; and Francis Amo, also known as Agogo. It is thought that Ibrahim received the pilfered goods.
All three suspects have acknowledged their roles in the crime, according to the police.
One iPhone 17 Pro Max, an Apple Watch, and a Samsung Fold phone were found during a search of Anthony Boateng’s home. A truncheon, a short machete, knives, scissors, lighters, and a face shield were among the offensive weapons found by the officers.
While efforts are ongoing to retrieve the remaining stolen goods and apprehend more people involved in the crime, the suspects are presently being held by the police and helping with investigations.
