The new Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park Governing Board was officially launched by Hon. Abla Dzifa Gomashie, Minister of Tourism, Culture, and Creative Arts.
She praised President John Dramani Mahama for selecting a capable group and urged members to uphold the integrity of their service in protecting one of Ghana’s most famous historical sites.
The board, which is chaired by Mrs. Anne Asantewaa Sackey, is charged with protecting and advancing the memory of Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, Ghana’s first president, while advancing the park as a premier historical and tourism destination.

The board is composed of the following members:
Abraham Eghan, Bob Denis Ahiagble, Fafa Afua Adinyra, Belinda Alijata Suleman, Dr. Michael Mensah, Paul Parker Atitsogbui ESQ, Anne Asantewaa Sackey (Chair), Collins R. Nunyonameh Ph.D., and Awudu Lah Jr. Baguah.
Senior Ministry officials, the Chief Director, and Deputy Minister Hon. Yussif Issaka Jajah were also in attendance.
