The Ofankor-Nsawam Road Contractor Promises to Return to the Site Right Away

The contractor working on the Ofankor-Nsawam Road has been instructed by Hon. Kwame Agbodza, Minister of Roads and Highways, to give priority to resolving the commuters’ annoyances along the route.

Speaking on the government’s resolve to finish current road projects, Hon. Agbodza reiterated his promises to pay contractors back, saying the government is willing to pay GHC 4 billion of the GHC 21 billion that is owing.

The contractor has promised to return to the site right away after a period of intense engagement and to enhance the road conditions in six weeks.

The Minister acknowledged that there may be short-term inconveniences during current work but emphasized that these efforts are essential for long-term improvements in the nation’s road infrastructure, and he urged drivers to be patient and cooperative.
