Ghana and Singapore have confirmed their intention to strengthen their ties in the fields of fintech and technical education.
When Singapore’s High Commissioner to Ghana, H.E. Hawazi Daipi, visited with Foreign Affairs Minister Hon. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa (MP) on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, the two nations made the promise.
Hon. Okudzeto Ablakwa reaffirmed the critical role technical education plays in a country’s development and underlined the value of industry and academia collaborating for the country’s advancement.

He also praised Singapore for its assistance to Ghana in a number of areas and noted the close connections between the two nations.
H.E. Daipi stated that his nation is prepared to provide technical education scholarship programs to Ghanaian students.
Both parties promised to improve ties between the two nations for the benefit of their respective populations as the summit came to a close.
