Sulemana Abdul Samed, popularly known as Awuche, the tallest man in Ghana, has passed away.

After fighting a gigantism-related ailment, the 33-year-old passed away.

His cause of death has not yet been made public.

But according to reports, Awuche passed away early on Monday, July 27, 2026, at the Tamale Teaching Hospital.

Weeks after Ibrahim Mahama declared he would pay for his medical expenses, he passed away.
