Friday, December 2, 2022, has been designated by the Ministry of Interior as a public holiday that all Ghanaians must respect.

Ambrose Dery, the interior minister, issued a statement in which he said: “The general public is hereby reminded that Friday, December 2, 2022, which commemorates Farmers’ Day, is a Statutory Public Holiday and should be commemorated as such throughout the country.”
