Trade Minister Discusses Workplace Issues with MoTAI Sanitation Officers

Hon. Elizabeth Ofosu-Adjare, Minister for Trade, Agribusiness, and Industry, met with sanitation officers from the Ministry on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, in her office in Accra.

The participation was part of the Minister’s efforts to create a clean, healthy, and welcoming working environment within the Ministry.

It also gave the cops an opportunity to discuss the difficulties they face while carrying out their duties.

Hon. Ofosu-Adjare addressed the team and praised the cleaners for their effort and contributions to maintaining hygiene and order in the Ministry.

She assured them that the Ministry was committed to addressing their complaints and improving their working circumstances.

Ing. Collins Andoh, the Estate Officer, who was also present at the meeting, described some of the operational and logistical difficulties the sanitation unit has and suggested ways to improve their effectiveness.

In order to maintain the cleanliness and environmental friendliness of the Ministry’s facilities at all times, the Minister asked the Estate Unit to work closely with the sanitation team.
