During his three-day State Visit to Ghana, His Excellency Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa, President of the Republic of Zimbabwe, visited the Accra Compost and Recycling Plant (ACARP), a division of the Jospong Group of Companies, to personally witness Ghana’s progress in sustainable waste management.

The visit demonstrates Ghana’s and Zimbabwe’s shared dedication to enhancing environmental sustainability cooperation and encouraging creative, domestic solutions to the continent’s sanitation and waste management problems.

President Mnangagwa praised the program after the tour, calling it an excellent example of effective garbage management and environmental preservation in Africa.

Joseph Siaw Agyepong, Executive Chairman of the Jospong Group of Companies, gave the President a tour of the facility and discussed the plant’s operations, including recycling and composting procedures.

Opportunities for cooperation, knowledge sharing, and the duplication of best practices between the two nations were further underlined by the visit.
