The Committee was urged by VRA to assist the Finance and Energy Ministers in securing and overseeing a minimum of 80% of the market for energy generation.
Hon. Emmanuel Kwasi Bedzra, the Committee Chairman and Ho West MP, praised both organisations for their efforts to maintain the lights.
“The Committee’s engagement with agencies under its purview is to understand their challenges and work with the relevant authorities to address them,” he said, adding that the Committee does not want to be an armchair spectator.
