On Thursday, November 6, 2025, Hon. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa (MP), the Minister of Foreign Affairs, met with Ms. Eyerusalem Fasika, the Country Manager of the African Development Bank (AfDB).
The meeting gave both parties a chance to talk about current and future areas of cooperation between Ghana and the AfDB, especially in areas like infrastructure, energy, agriculture, agro-processing, and education that are vital to the country’s development.

Ms. Fasika reiterated the AfDB’s dedication to assisting Ghana’s development goal by means of inclusive, sustainable initiatives that promote social and economic advancement.
Honourable Ablakwa emphasised the value of fortifying strategic alliances in order to further Ghana’s national priorities while acknowledging the AfDB’s substantial contribution to the country’s development endeavours.
He also reiterated Ghana’s willingness to help AfDB engage more deeply in order to accomplish common development goals.
Both parties reaffirmed their dedication to maintaining Ghana and the AfDB’s solid collaboration in order to advance inclusive growth and enhance livelihoods.
