Ablakwa plans a trip to Latvia in connection with the alleged murder of a Ghanaian student.

Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, Ghana’s minister of foreign affairs, has stated that he will travel to Latvia in response to Nana Agyei Ahyia’s passing.

After visiting with the grieving family, he disclosed this.

He said in a social media post that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has received a preliminary report from the fact-finding team.

He added that contact with the Latvian government indicates that the investigations by Latvian authorities into the circumstances surrounding Nana Agyei’s death are still ongoing.

The late Nana Agyei Ahyia’s family will accompany the Minister as he travels to Latvia to meet with my counterpart and interact with investigators.
