Dr. Kofi Konadu Apraku, a flag bearer candidate for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), was unable to submit his candidacy paperwork.
Dr. Konadu Apraku, who was present at the NPP headquarters today, Monday, June 19, 2023, was unable to submit his nomination paperwork since his supporting paperwork was found to be lacking.
So, before returning the forms, the flagbearer candidate was asked to fix several errors. Speaking to the media, the campaign team’s director of communications, Kwame Obiri Nkansah, stated that Dr. Konadu Apraku’s CV and personal statement were absent from the prior submissions.
“The procedure is straightforward. The committee chairman has requested us to add something that we left out, he said.
He said: “We thought that one was not necessary because everyone knew what he has done but that is the request so we want to go and add those things.” “They are asking for his personal contribution to the party, and his CV,” he continued.
However, the flagbearer candidate’s director of communications was certain that all issues would be resolved in time for the candidate to submit his nomination form.
The Director of Communications noted that they hoped to be back to file by Friday or Saturday.
