The Ministry of Tourism, Culture, and Creative Arts received a courtesy call from the family of the late gospel musician Yaw Sarpong, led by MUSIGA President Mr. Bessa Simons, to formally notify Sector Minister Hon. Abla Dzifa Gomashie of his departure and make burial arrangements.
According to Hon. Gomashie, who expressed profound sadness over the loss, Yaw Sarpong was a well-known gospel hero whose music inspired many people spiritually and whose contributions to Ghana’s creative arts sector will live on for many generations.
