Vice President Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang attended the one-week celebration of Nana Kwame Akuako Sarpong’s life alongside the Agogo chiefs and people, as well as family, friends, and other mourners, yesterday.
For fifty years, Nana Akuako Sarpong, a lawyer, was the Agogohene.
In addition, he oversaw departments including the Interior and Health while serving as an MP and in other government positions.
The Vice President sent her condolences to the family of Nana Akuako Sarpong and the people of the Agogo Traditional Area on behalf of His Excellency, President John Dramani Mahama.
