A high-level stakeholder meeting has been called by Hon. Samuel Nartey George, Minister of Communication, Digital Technology, and Innovations, to map out the future of Ghana’s Digital Terrestrial Television (DTT) platform.

On Tuesday, February 24, 2026, important figures from the broadcasting sector convened to talk on the DTT platform’s long-term viability.

“DTT remains the platform with the widest national reach and is central to Ghana’s digital broadcasting future,” the Minister said, underscoring the importance of a cooperative approach.

The National Communication Authority (NCA) will serve as the chair of the 13-person committee that the Hon. Minister indicated would be formed to provide an equitable and open cost-sharing approach for DTT operations.
