The Ministry of Foreign Affairs would like to notify all accredited stakeholders that the VVIP Lounge at Accra International Airport would be temporarily closed in order to accommodate planned renovations that will improve the facility’s overall operation, safety, and comfort.
The shutdown will go into effect on Friday. 3rd April 2026, and on Friday, April 10th, 2026, the facility is anticipated to reopen for business.
The refurbishment is a component of ongoing initiatives to modernise important national infrastructure and enhance the quality of services provided to high-ranking officials and dignitaries.
The Ministry expresses its sincere regret for any trouble this may have caused and reaffirms its dedication to providing effective and superior public service.
