The Ministry of Education has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with chosen universities to implement the Postgraduate Diploma in Ghana Teacher Professionalisation (PGG) programme, which aims to transform non-professional teachers into fully certified practitioners.
The Minister for Education suggested the initiative earlier this year with the goal of giving teachers who are currently working in classrooms without formal professional training the pedagogical knowledge, skills, and competencies needed to enhance teaching and learning results.
