A massively loaded articulated vehicle is involved in an accident at Birimso Bridge on the N6 Highway (Accra-Kumasi Highway), which completely blocks the road for traffic heading to Accra and Kumasi.
At 10 a.m. today, July 18, 2026, officers from the Eastern South Regional MTTD team from Kibi have temporarily redirected traffic via Kibi at Nsutam for Accra-bound traffic and at Apedwa for Kumasi-bound traffic.
