The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has announced a scheduled power outage in parts of the Accra West Region as part of planned maintenance works aimed at improving electricity supply and service delivery.
According to ECG, the maintenance exercise will result in a temporary interruption of power supply in several communities and business areas on Sunday, September 20, 2026.

The scheduled ECG power outage is expected to take place from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday.
Residents, businesses and institutions within the affected areas are advised to make the necessary arrangements ahead of the planned electricity interruption.

ECG Appeals to Customers
ECG explained that the planned maintenance exercise is intended to support improved electricity service delivery in the Accra West Region.
