Yesterday morning, the sector Minister, Francis Asenso-Boakye had the honour of hosting the South African Minister for Human Settlements, Ms. Mmamoloko Kubayi (MP), and government and business delegation from South Africa on her 3-day visit to Ghana.
This historic bilateral visit, which is the first of its kind between the two governments, is focused on strengthening cooperation in the field of housing and human settlement development.

Minister Kubayi was joined by a team of high-ranking officials from the Department of Human Settlements, as well as representatives from the National Housing Finance Corporation and the National Homebuilders Registration Council in South Africa.
During discussions, the two Ministers explored areas of mutual interests and partnerships in the delivery of housing, promoting knowledge sharing as well as other technical matters relating to the housing sectors.
The sector Minister is confident that through collaborative efforts, Ghana and South Africa can implement integrated and people-centered approaches to housing development.
