10.2km Afrisipa-Tekyire by-pass on the Sunyani- Kumasi Highway is about 78 percent complete.

The project is expected to be fully completed by May this year.

The by-pass, when completed, will enable Newmont Ghana Ltd to undertake its mining operations and related activities without interfering with traffic flow on that section of the Kumasi – Sunyani Highway.

Yesterday, Wednesday April 3 2024, Hon. Francis Asenso-Boakye inspected the progress of work on the Road as part of his working tour of the Ahafo Region.

The Minister expressed satisfaction with the quality of work done so far.
