Parliament will reconvene today at AICC

Parliament will meet again today, Tuesday, October 15, 2024, in the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC) Dome.

This short-term move coincides with necessary renovations being done to the main chamber of Parliament.

Speaker of Parliament Alban Bagbin revealed the new location in a statement on Monday, September 30, 2024, assuring MPs that their legislative responsibilities would remain unhindered at the AICC while renovations were being made.

Despite the unique setting, Members of Parliament will convene to discuss urgent national concerns at the start of the fifth meeting of the fourth session.

The main chamber of the Parliament is being renovated with the intention of improving both its functionality and the legislative atmosphere for upcoming sessions.
