The Ofonkor-Nsawam project, the Tema Motorway extension project, the Tema-Akosombo project, and the Tema-Aflao project are the four important road projects in the Greater Accra Region that the government is dedicated to finishing, according to Hon. Kwame Agbodza.
During yesterday’s inspection tour of these projects, the Minister voiced his displeasure with the rate of progress on the Tema-Akosombo, Tema-Aflao, and Ofonkor-Nsawam projects and instructed the contractors to accelerate their work in order to guarantee their prompt completion.
In order to minimize dust and lessen the difficulty for drivers, he has also directed them to continue watering and to repair the unpaved and damaged portions of the roads.
Hon. Agbodza reassured the contractors that these projects are a government priority and that funding will be supplied to ensure their completion, despite the country’s difficult economic circumstances.
