Mr. Franz R. Dress-Cross, the World Bank’s Regional Director for Infrastructure, met with Hon. Kwame Agbodza to talk about ways to upgrade the nation’s road system.

Road toll reintroduction, road contract management technical assistance, road fund de-capping, budgetary support for the Kumasi Urban Mobility and Accessibility Project (KUMAP), and government priority projects were the main topics of their conversation.

The Ministry’s emphasis on road upkeep this year was underlined by Hon. Agbodza.

Additionally, he reiterated the government’s commitment to building 12 major road projects under President Mahama’s “BIG PUSH” Initiative, which aims to improve road interconnectivity throughout the nation.
