A working visit to the Accra Marine Drive Development Project Site was made by Hon. Abla Dzifa Gomashie, M.P., Minister of Tourism, Culture, and Creative Arts.

In addition to interacting with the Anchor Developer and Consultants, the visit was intended to assess the scope of work completed at the project site.

Mr. Kwame Atta Acheampong, Managing Director of Attachy Construction Ltd., the project’s anchor developer, and Mr. J.B. Asafo Boakye, the project’s engineering consultant, greeted and briefed the minister and her team upon their arrival.

An important public-private collaboration called the Marine Drive Project was started to revitalize Accra’s coastline. From the Christiansborg Castle at Osu to the Arts Centre in the Ga Mashie enclave, it covers an area of around 241 acres.

Hon. Gomashie praised the advancements and reaffirmed the government’s determination to see the Marine Drive Project through to its successful conclusion.

Deputy Hon. Yusif Jajah, Ag. Chief Director Mr. Vitus Otto Langmagne, Ministry Director for Tourism Mr. Geoffrey Tamakloe, Director for Culture and Creative Arts Mr. Divine Owusu-Ansah, Ag. CEO of GTDC Prof. Kobby Mensah, and Ag. CEO of GTA Mrs. Maame Efua Houadjeto were all with the Hon. Minister.
