President John Dramani Mahama has reiterated his intention to finish all unfinished projects started by earlier administrations.
This promise was made while on his “Thank You” trip of the Ahafo Region, where he thanked the locals for their support in the general elections of 2024.
Speaking to an assembly of chiefs and locals, Mr. Mahama disclosed that a thorough inventory of the nation’s unfinished projects has already been carried out, opening the door for their eventual restart and completion.
Traditional leaders and the Ahafo Region’s citizens welcomed the former president with open arms, using the opportunity to draw attention to long-standing issues and emphasize their urgent development needs.
Mr. Mahama reassured them that he was visiting not just to thank them but also to reaffirm his pledge to fulfill the pledges he made during the campaign in preparation for the 2024 elections.
He also discussed important infrastructure goals, pointing out that as part of a larger plan to boost regional growth and increase connectivity, a number of the area’s main highways have been designated for reconstruction in the upcoming months.
