Hon. Yusif Sulemana, the Deputy Minister for Lands and Natural Resources, has reiterated the government’s steadfast dedication to better land governance and digital land reforms.
He stated this during the establishment of the 25-member Volta Regional Lands Commission Board, which is tasked with maintaining professionalism and honesty while supervising land administration in the area.
The government’s land reform plan, which is based on the 2024 People’s Manifesto, is in line with initiatives to create a sustainable and inclusive economy, Hon. Sulemana emphasized.
“To build a 24-hour economy, land services must be swift, secure, and transparent, supporting agriculture, housing, tourism, and industrialization,” he stated.
Mr. Divine Fiakpui-Dzahini, the board chairman, vowed to work with stakeholders to change land governance in the area while maintaining openness and professionalism.
