Mrs. Lordina Dramani Mahama, Her Excellency the First Lady, spoke Wednesday at the esteemed 7th Edition of the Merck Foundation First Ladies Initiative (MFFLI) Summit in Dubai.
The First Lady celebrated the successful 13-year collaboration between Ghana and the Merck Foundation and offered thoughts on empowering women, bolstering healthcare systems, and more.
The importance of First Ladies as Ambassadors for the “More Than a Mother” campaign, which aims to dispel the stigma associated with infertility and advance gender equality, was also emphasized by Mrs. Mahama.
She thanked the Merck Foundation and reaffirmed her and the Lordina Foundation’s dedication to enhancing cooperation for better health, education, and social stigma prevention efforts throughout Ghana.
