On behalf of the government and people of Ghana, President John Dramani Mahama has awarded Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is currently on a two-day official visit, the State Honor of Officer of the Order of the Star of Ghana.
The medal was presented on Wednesday during a formal banquet honoring the visiting prime minister.
In addition to praising Prime Minister Modi’s decades of devoted service, the citation that accompanied the prize highlighted his unwavering dedication to human advancement, visionary government, and remarkable integrity.
His noteworthy efforts to uplift his country and extend a hand of partnership to the world, especially Ghana, were also acknowledged.
His outstanding leadership, significant contribution to global development, and unwavering dedication to bolstering the crucial bilateral connection between Ghana and India were all expressly recognized by the honor.
