Four new candidates were presented to the Appointments Committee of Parliament on Friday after President John Dramani Mahama nominated them to be deputy ministers.
In keeping with his plan to appoint and collaborate with 60 ministers, these are the final group of deputy ministers that President Mahama has nominated.
They are Jasmine Gyakye Quayson, MP for Assin North, as Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs; Mohammed Adam Sukparu (MP) for Sissala West as Deputy Minister of Communication, Digital Technology, and Innovations; Grace Ayensu-Danquah (MP) for Essikado-Ketan as Deputy Minister of Health; and Dorcas Afo-Toffey, MP for Jomoro, as Deputy Minister of Transport.
