Evanex Gold Enterprise, a Tier 2 licensed gold buyer, has had its license immediately suspended by the Ghana Gold Board (GoldBod).
The Chief Executive Officer, Samuel Gyamfi, made the decision in a Compliance Notice dated August 28, 2025, in response to investigative findings that the company had violated its licensing requirements by engaging in unlawful gold pricing methods.
With immediate effect, the Board has ordered all licensed miners, merchants, and members of the public to stop doing business with Evanex Gold Enterprise in any way. GoldBod reiterated its dedication to maintaining rules in the gold trading industry and encouraging responsibility and openness.
According to GoldBod, it is still committed to upholding compliance in order to preserve the honesty and equity of Ghana’s gold sector.
