Dr. Kofi Konadu Apraku, a flag bearer candidate for the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), has re-filed his candidacy paperwork following an earlier failure.
The party’s elections committee requested the former minister of NEPAD and Regional Integration amend his deficient documents on his first attempt on Monday, June 19, 2023.
He had to fix the error before turning in the forms.
The personal contribution and CV of the candidate were not included in the earlier materials presented, Mr. Kwame Obiri Nkansah, Director of Communications for the Apraku campaign team, had earlier declared to the media.
The procedure is straightforward; the committee chairman has requested us to include anything that we left off, he said.
He said: “We thought that one was not necessary because everyone knew what he has done but that is the request so we want to go and add those things.” “They are asking for his personal contribution to the party, and his CV,” he continued.
