Araba Tagoe, a prominent member of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), has reportedly passed away.

Although the reason of death is not yet confirmed, sources claim that the NDC veteran has been ill for some time.

Araba Tagoe’s passing was a major setback for the party, according to Richard K. Mensah, director of communications for the party’s western region. The NDC’s Western Region’s Women’s Organiser was the late Araba Tagoe.

Later, she ran for office as a member of the National Executive, a post she held up until her death.

The details of the funeral would be revealed later.
