Curfews in Kpatinga Township and the Northern Region’s Surrounding Areas Are Lifted

On the recommendation of the Northern Regional Security Council, the Interior Minister has immediately lifted the curfew in Kpatinga Township and the surrounding area of the Northern Region.

The improvement in the security situation in the area and the sincere desire of the Chiefs and local residents to maintain peace in the area have made this necessary.

The government continues to thank the local chiefs, elders, opinion leaders, youth, and citizens and encourages them to keep using peaceful methods to resolve their conflicts.
