Some eminent journalists received recognition for their exceptional achievements at the 27th Ghana Journalists Association (GJA) Awards ceremony on Sunday.
A journalist of the Multimedia Group named Erastus Asare Donkor received the esteemed Journalist of the Year award for 2022.
In addition, Mr. Donkor won the Television (TV) category’s Best Reporter for Illegal Mining award. Mr. Donkor is a Kumasi-based reporter from this region.
Contributing Journalist Francisca Enchill, whose work appeared on Joy News, a Multimedia Group member, was named Female Journalist of the Year. She was named the Best Investigative Journalist by the publication of her investigative journalism article.

· Della Russel Ocloo received the Best Journalist in Agric & Food Security for Graphic.
· Alberto Mario Noretti was recognized as the Best in News in the Print category for Graphic.
· Efia Akese excelled in the Features category for Print (Graphic).
· Kester Aburam Korankye was honored with the Best in Road Safety award for Graphic.
· Mohammed Fugu was acknowledged as the Best Journalist in Domestic Tourism for Graphic.
· The Daily Graphic was awarded the Best Newspaper Layout for 2022.
· Seth J. Bokpe was recognized for Democracy and Good Governance.
· Edward Adeti earned recognition for his work in the Crime/Court category.
· Anthony Adongo Apubeo from Ghana News Agency (GNA), who received the Education award.
· Beatrice Senadju of Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC), who won in the Health category.
· Vivian Adu of Atinka Media, who received the Gender award.
· Fred Duhoe of Citi TV, who secured the Best News Report in the TV category.
· Akua Oforiwa Darko from GBC, recognized for the Best Environment & Science Report.
· Gifty Adjei from GBC, awarded the Best in Features in the TV category.
· Emma Davies of the Multimedia Group, who won in the Business/Economics category.
· Kweku Bolton from GBC, recognized for Arts & Entertainment reporting.
· Emmanuel Dzivenu from Joy Prime, who received the Best Report for Disability.
· Eric Mensah-Ayettey from Myjoyonline, awarded as the Best Columnist.
· Ridwan Karim Dini-Osman from the EIB Network, who won the Best Feature in the Radio category.
