The Ministry of Health has announced new abroad job opportunities for Ghanaian allied health professionals in collaboration with the Barbados government.

According to a press release dated April 9, 2026, the initiative seeks qualified professionals for a variety of specialised roles in Barbados, including cardiac perfusionists, ECG technicians, EEG technologists, physiotherapists, audiologists, diagnostic radiographers, occupational therapists, respiratory therapists, and speech and language therapists.

According to the Ministry, applicants must meet the Allied Health Professions Council’s regulatory standards and have at least five years of experience.

Academic credentials, proof of good standing with the Allied Health Professions Council, criminal record clearing, birth certificates, curriculum vitae, reference letters, and a valid passport are among the documents that interested candidates must provide.

Applications must be submitted via the Ministry of Health’s recruiting webpage between April 10 and April 14, 2026.

During planned interviews, applicants must also bring certified copies of their professional registration documents and qualifications.

The Ministry stated that applications that are insufficient or inappropriate would not be taken into consideration.

The program is a part of continuous efforts to improve international cooperation in the health industry and provide Ghanaian health professionals with international career pathways.
