The Ministry of Health has stated that it would start recruiting the 36th batch of Medical Officers and Dentists who have finished their housemanship and been verified by the Medical and Dental Council.

The Ministry stated in a July 2 public notice that the online recruitment process will formally begin on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at 10:00 a.m.

Candidates must apply via the Ministry’s recruiting website, https://mohrecruitment.com, where they can choose the districts in which they would like to be posted.

According to the Ministry, there are openings in the Mental Health Authority, Christian Health Association of Ghana (CHAG), Ahmadiyya Health Service, and Ghana Health Service (GHS).

Candidates must finish and submit their applications by Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at 6:00 p.m.

Members of the 34th and 35th batches who previously applied but were not deployed may take part in the current exercise, the Ministry further announced.

However, if there are openings, they will only be taken into consideration for positions in the regions to which they were first assigned.

Additionally, it warned applicants not to pay money to anyone claiming to facilitate recruitment while assuring them that the hiring process would be carried out fairly and openly.

“The recruitment process remains transparent,” the Ministry stated, advising candidates to disregard those who promise to affect the exercise’s outcome or demand payment.

The Ministry urged all qualified dentists and medical officers to adhere to the formal application process and fulfil the deadline.
