The Clerk to the Parliament of Ghana, Mr Ebenezer Ahumah Djietror, has welcomed members of the Council of the Africa Colloquium of Legal Counsel to Parliaments during a working visit to Accra.
The visit focused on preparations for the upcoming 8th Africa Colloquium of Legal Counsel to Parliaments, scheduled to take place in 2026.
Parliament Reviews Preparations for 2026 Colloquium
As part of the working visit, the Local Organising Committee held a meeting with the visiting delegation to assess and review preparations for the major parliamentary legal conference.
Discussions centred on ensuring that the necessary arrangements are in place for a successful event and effective participation by legal counsel from parliaments across Africa.
The engagement provided an opportunity for the organisers and the Council to assess progress, strengthen coordination and address key issues ahead of the 2026 colloquium.
