All sixteen areas of the Ministry of Gender, Children, and Social Protection have received their first-quarter arrears payment from School Feeding Caterers.
The Ghana School Feeding Program administration reports that there were 58 cooking days in total during the first quarter of the 2023–2024 academic year, which began on October 3, 2023.
Nevertheless, four days were taken out of the total since caterers had to use October 3–6, 2023, to clean their kitchens.
Thus, on October 9, 2023, the formal cooking days began.
This information was released in a July 1, 2024, statement that was signed by Siiba Alfa, the Public Relations chief.
