The Inspector-General of Police sent two armoured vehicles and officers from the National Police Operations to bolster security, according to a statement released on March 26 by the Police Regional Headquarters in Dambai. According to reports, calm has returned.

Five bodies, three males and two females, were found in two different parts of the Nkwanta South Municipality, according to the police. The Police, Military, Bureau of National Investigations (BNI), Defence Intelligence, and Ghana National Fire Service all worked together to conduct the recovery operation.
