Laryea Kingston, a former Ghana international, has been appointed the Black Starlets’ new coach.
Abdul Karim Zito has been working as an assistant coach with the former Accra Hearts of Oak and Accra Great Olympics winger, who played in two Africa Cup of Nations (2006 and 2008) and won 42 caps for Ghana. They were appointed in December 2022.
Laryea pursued his worldwide career in Russia, Scotland, the Netherlands, Israel, and Saudi Arabia for thirteen years while he was overseas.
Former Hearts of Oak captain Jacob Nettey and Nana Agyemang, who holds both a UEFA Licence B and a CAF Licence A and has worked with Adenta United, Barbarossa Academy, the Lizzy Sports Complex Academy, and ProGen Football Club, will support Laryea Kingson.
Accra Hearts of Oak’s former captain, Jacob Nettey, guided the team to the renowned CAF Champions League victory in 2000. Jacob participated in the 2000 Africa Cup of Nations, which was co-hosted by Ghana and Nigeria. He also represented the Black Stars at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. During his time at Accra Hearts of Oak, Jacob was the recipient of three FA Cup trophies and six Premier League crowns.
