The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has announced plans to mark the 44th anniversary of the 31st December Revolution in Ada, Greater Accra Region.

The ceremony is slated for Wednesday, December 31, 2026, at 8:00 a.m. in Ada’s Asafotufiam Park.

According to the party, this year’s celebration will have the topic “Consolidating the Reset Agenda: Reflections on the Gains of the 31st December Revolution.”

Party leaders, government representatives, party members, and supporters from all over the nation are anticipated to gather for the anniversary celebration in order to consider the historical significance of the December 31, 1981 Revolution and its influence on Ghana’s political, social, and economic development.

The NDC has historically used the occasion to evaluate the revolution’s legacy and reaffirm its dedication to the values of social justice, accountability, and national growth.

According to party officials, the 2026 celebration will also offer a chance to harmonise the revolution’s principles with the party’s present “reset agenda” and more general governance aims.
